Kevin Wall is an Emmy Award-winning producer, activist and new media entrepreneur.
As founder and CEO of Control Room, which produces and distributes live music concerts across Internet, radio, television, and mobile phones, platforms, Wall pioneered the platform-agnostic digital media model making entertainment content available on all mediums and devices. Control Room has delivered more than 100 shows since 2005, featuring international superstars such as Madonna, Jay-Z, Rihanna, and more, across a variety of networks and platforms around the world. Wall expanded Control Room’s producer credits to include specialized iconic events – 2009 Green Inaugural Ball hosted by former U.S. Vice President Al Gore, Live Earth 2007: Concerts for a Climate in Crisis, and Live Earth 2008: India – featuring multi-artist performances, integrated messaging, and massive global media architecture. He has added brand integration to Control Room’s arsenal of entertainment expertise through creation of events such as Nokia New Year’s Eve and Macy’s Passport which associates and integrates well-known brands with music events and artists that better reach their consumers.
As President of Control Room, Aaron Grosky guides the company’s long-term strategic direction across all aspects of the company’s business, including event production, television production, media architecture design, artist and celebrity relationships, sponsorship development, and creative vision.
Grosky serves as executive producer for all Control Room programming, including special events such as FIFA World Cup™ Kick-Off Celebration Concert, the 2009 Inaugural Green Ball hosted by former U.S. Vice President Al Gore, Macy’s Passport and Nokia New Year’s Eve, and all Live Earth productions including the Live Earth events on July 7th, 2007. Responsible for the creative vision, oversight of all production elements, and serving as chief liaison for Control Room constituents from artist, brand, and content partner communities, productions under Grosky’s direction have received high marks in production value, talent procurement, and audience viewership.
As Senior Producer for Control Room, Nick Jacobovitz is responsible for all elements of broadcast production across numerous multi-‐media platforms. His in-‐depth understanding of multi-‐camera captures (both live & taped), as well as extensive post-‐production and content distribution experience, make him a diverse addition to the team.
Nick has produced over 100 shows for Control Room including network television broadcasts for ABC and NBC/Universal, online broadcasts for AOL, Yahoo!, VEVO and MSN, and in-‐theatre events for National CineMedia/Regal Entertainment Group. He has also delivered content to all major cable and satellite service providers, including HDNet, DirecTV and Dish Network, to wireless carriers including MediaFLO (formerly on the AT&T Network), and international television broadcasters such as BBC, TV Globo, Foxtel, XYZ Networks, MediaCorp, Fuji, and Dentsu.
Bob Baxter directs all aspects of finance, management information systems and human resources as well as budgeting and reporting systems for Control Room. As CFO, his primary responsibility is managing the fiscal health, company growth and profitability of Control Room.
Baxter has over 25 years of experience in entertainment finance, including senior financial/management positions at House of Blues, Hallmark Channel and DMX Music. Bob also served clients such as News Corporation, Twentieth Century-Fox, MGM/UA Studios, and MGM Grand while at Arthur Andersen.
Senior Vice President, Business and Legal Affairs
As SVP of Business and Legal Affairs, Miki Anzai is the head of Control Room’s legal department and responsible for the legal aspect of all of the company’s business and personnel matters, including the company’s content agreements, on-going distribution deals, IP and tax matters, as well as general corporate maintenance, support of business development opportunities, supervision of litigation and labor/employment matters.
Prior to joining Control Room in 2006, Anzai held associate positions with Los Angeles offices of Loeb & Loeb LLP and Bingham McCutchen LLP (formerly Riordan & McKinzie) specializing in a variety of practice areas from litigation to tax law. Developing her expertise as a generalist, she worked within the corporate, litigation, tax and labor/employment practice groups, serving both small and multi-billion dollar clients. Anzai worked closely with clients and often served as the day-to-day client contact.
Anzai received her JD from UCLA Law School and her BA magna cum laude from Duke University, which she attended on an A.B. Duke Scholarship.
Director of Music Programming/Talent Relations
As Director of Music Programming and Talent Relations, Mara Levinson is head of the talent and programming aspect of Control Room’s music series and live multi-artist events. For Control Room’s worldwide music events, such as Live Earth 07 and the 2010 FIFA World Cup Kick-Off Event, Levinson serves as the Talent and Content Producer, working closely with Executive Producer Aaron Grosky on the creative arch of the event and programming of the stage for musical performances and presenters, video interstitial and original short films. As the lead talent liaison, Levinson makes sure artists are properly represented across all aspects of the event including production, logistics, marketing, creative and their live performance. Additionally, Levinson works with Control Room’s broadcast partners and clients on content programming, artist related initiatives, and overall messaging across the event.
Jonathan Grove heads up Business Development and Corporate Sponsorships/ Partnerships looking to expand on Control Room’s current portfolio and partner base. Grove has deep experience associated with global iconic events in the entertainment, sport and cause related space. By leveraging global partnerships, Grove has been able to bring some of the largest brands to life in the most exciting settings. Grove also has an extensive global media network which spans multiple platforms including, but not limited to, broadcast, internet and mobile.
Prior to his work at Control Room, Grove spent time at Media Link LLC, Washington Mutual, Accenture and Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association.
Jonathan graduated from the University of Michigan with a BA and holds an MBA from Loyola University Chicago.
